Brian Tetsuro Ivie is a Japanese-American filmmaker, film producer, and documentarian. He is most well known for his documentary film, "Emanuel," which tells the story of the Charleston Church Shooting and the story of healing that followed in the aftermath. Oscar Winner Viola Davis was the film's executive producer. A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Brian has produced numerous festival short films and features, most recently, "Wildcat", directed by Ethan Hawke ("Black Phone"), "Even In The Wind," directed by Sam Kuhn and starring Sonoya Mizuno ("House of The Dragon"), and "The Queen of Basketball," winner of the 2022 Academy Award. He is represented by CAA.
